Golden Phoenix, also signed Jinfeng Sauna, is a street-level Macau sauna in the Porto Exterior district of the peninsula, open 24 hours, and you can stay the night. The door ticket is MOP 699 and the menu runs 1,599 to 4,599, with 5% service charge and 5% tourism tax added on top, so read the board as a before-fees number.
On the 2026 Macau sauna price ladder this is the low end, and the fit-out is recent: a gold frontage under red lanterns, pale-wood corridors, round-bed rooms with a gold palm-leaf relief wall and a shower inside the room, a second round-bed room under a white canopy, and a sequinned rest lounge full of recliners, which is where an overnight stay is spent. The house advertises a buy-one-get-one offer on its own poster; whether it applies on your night is set by the house that day, so confirm it when you book.
Board prices as of 2026-11-01 — The board is the room. Your total for the night — service charge included — comes from the desk before you go.

Inside
-
The canopy room at Golden Phoenix: a round bed under white gauze, and a glass shower just beyond it inside the same room.
-
The room corridor: pale panelled walls, a cloud-pattern carpet, and doors that are all closed by the time you walk it.
-
The rest lounge at Golden Phoenix, where an overnight stay is spent: rows of grey recliners under a sequinned wall, with a screen at the far end.
-
A round-bed room at Golden Phoenix: the gold palm-leaf relief takes up the whole wall, and the frosted glass beside the bed carries a splash of watercolour.
-
The tea lounge by reception: small tables, a snack counter, and the blue neon by the desk.
-
Inside a Golden Phoenix treatment room: beige travertine-look stone wraps all four walls, a charcoal massage table fills the middle, and a glass door leads through to the shower.
-
Golden Phoenix, a second round bed: caramel leather wraps the bed frame, a glass-screened shower stands to one side, and a long copper-toned leaf is mounted on the wall.
-
Golden Phoenix sets this room aside for staying the night: recliners in deep-toned leather run away in one long line, footrests raised, each wall lamp throwing a violet fan of light.
-
The entrance of Golden Phoenix Sauna: a gold frontage with the sign lit, and a window full of red lanterns facing the street.
How a Macau sauna works
- 01 Arrive and check in Bring your passport. You get a locker key and a robe; towels and amenities are provided, so come empty-handed.
- 02 The baths Start in the water. Pools, steam and a dry sauna — the arrangement differs house to house, and one or two have a signature bath worth planning around.
- 03 The lounge Afterwards, a reclining lounge. Most houses include food and drink here, and it is where people spend the longest.
- 04 Add what you want Massage and spa courses are optional, chosen on the night. Nobody rushes the decision.
- 05 Settle up and go You pay the house on the way out, and it is the figure you were told before you left. Several houses let you rest until morning.
